IT Business Systems Analyst

Primary Accountability/Responsibility:
The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for driving the ongoing development and support of Hosted Solutions internal systems. They will provide user support, business systems development, design, analyst functions, documentation, testing, training, implementation, presentations, meeting facilitation and other related support. We have recently implemented NetSuite for ERP, CRM and project workflow functionality and are looking for a seasoned veteran to move this forward. The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for mapping out the vision for Hosted Solutions Internal systems and leading the cross-functional team that is executing on the vision to ensure the internal systems meet Hosted Solutions business goals.
Job Accountability/Responsibility:
- Define the strategy and roadmap for Hosted Solutions internal systems, including NetSuite, SuiteApps, and marketing tools such as Marketo and Eloqua.
- Achieve a high level of proficiency with enterprise work-flow and case management systems, capabilities and standards.
- Foster lasting working relationships with business partners and team members and other business process professionals.
- Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
- Identifies opportunities that will contribute to strategies to reduce duplication across platforms by working across a variety of business groups (Finance, Marketing, Operations, Architecture, and Executives) to identify internal systems enhancements that will help make Hosted Solutions more competitive.
- Run internal systems projects, leveraging resources from throughout the business and third parties as required.
- Produce appropriate documentation (requirements/etc) for these projects.
- Own process and training documentation for staff on the use of internal systems.
- Perform NetSuite customizations in support of internal systems projects.
- Manage vendor relationships for key internal systems suppliers, including Oracle and Microsoft.
- Be a functional subject matter expert able to apply basic statistical analysis tools to investigate existing processes for improvements, and expand the use of these tools within and to other departments.
- Absorbs current state and suggests new concepts quickly.
Requirements:
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an IT Business System Analyst.
- 5 to 7 years of progressive work experience in an IT environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or related field.
- Five plus years of experience using Business Process Management tools and methodology.
- Previous experience with Finance and HR systems, including Oracle ERP systems, including Net Suite.
- Previous experience with interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling and user interface design.
- A working knowledge of different requirement methodologies: methodology of Object Orientation, Use Cases, Unified Modeling Language, iterative methodologies like RUP and Waterfall or Agile approach.
