The Senior Solutions Consultant is responsible for delivering new accounts and new revenue to the organization. Duties include lead generation, prospecting, consultation, proposal generation and account management. The Senior Solutions Consultant must be able to multi-task while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Job Accountability/Responsibility:
- Participate effectively as an individual contributor within a multifaceted technology environment.
- Consistently deliver new revenue per the Hosted Solutions compensation and quota retirement plan.
- Lead generation. Responsible to identify and penetrate new accounts and gain market share.
- Achieve minimum sales activity. This to include a minimum of 10 appointments per week, 5 (minimum) of these appointments will be new appointments, a minimum of 30 prospecting calls made per day made by telephone, email, or cold calling.
- Prospect by telephone, in the field, direct mail, and utilize lead exchange programs throughout the market.
- Be able to tell the Hosted Solutions story, know the product line and be able to present it to customers.
- Be prepared to discuss your responsibilities and how you are maintaining and achieving your activity along with managing your funnel.
- Consultative sales. Be able to uncover a clients technology and business needs, then deliver a proper solution from the Hosted Solutions service offering.
- Maintain a professional image at all times which includes wearing business attire in the office and on appointments.
- Represent Hosted Solutions at various networking functions and events.
- Stay current on all reporting programs, which include MTD Sales, Pipeline, Activity and One on One reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2-3 years experience in a direct sales role
- Strong interpersonal skills; must work effectively with associates; team player
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Knowledge and experience employing problem resolutions technology including CRM tools
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; must communicate effectively in a professional manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage priorities, and remain professional at all times
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively
- Strong process skills
