Hosted Solutions has teamed up with IBM in a business venture that screams match made in heaven.

While Hosted Solutions isn't exactly the first-name in technology like IBM is, that's exactly why the two companies are joining forces to enter markets both companies are eager to penetrate.

'We have a strong presence in the Triangle area,” Douglas Shields, General Manager for Hosted Solutions said. “IBM isn't well known for being quick and flexible in the small to medium sized business area, teaming up with us, gives them another look into that area.”

Hosted Solutions will, along with helping open IBM up to the smaller SME business, be providing IBM with crucial, “web-enabled businesses of all sizes with a single source solution for sales and technical support of the IBM eServer* xSeries** product line,” states the company press release.

Hosted Solutions also benefits from the pairing, getting their name out to a broader audience of potential customers.

“This is positive for us since IBM is known throughout the world,” Shields said. “This is just the tip of the iceberg in our partnership with IBM. This is a good way for us to get our feet with and become familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of our partnership.”

Hosted Solutions now enjoys the benefit of being an authorized reseller of IBM's eServer xSeries product line. The company will provide on-going 1st and 2nd level support services. “IBM is always looking for Business Partners with the experienced management team and business direction needed to survive and prosper in the current market environment,” said Stephen Leicht, Business Development Manager, IBM Global Net Generation Business. “We look forward to working with Hosted Solutions to bring solid solutions to market.”
