Hosted Solutions Honored by Channel Insider

Hosted Solutions, a provider of IT infrastructure as a service (IaaS), has been named "Managed Services Provider of the Year" by Ziff Davis Enterprise's Channel Insider publication.

The Channel Insider Bull's Eye Awards is a community-driven recognition of the vendors, executives, solution providers, products, advocates and communities that comprise the channel. Award winners--selected by Channel Insider's editorial team, members of the Channel Insider Alliance and industry experts--are lauded for their contributions to the channel community in the past year.

In awarding Hosted Solutions its Bull's Eye Award, Channel Insider's editors cited the company's multiple implementations of cloud computing-based managed services "to differentiate its program and to help it stand out in the market." The editors specifically noted Hosted Solutions' Stratus Trusted Cloud, which it said allowed the firm to positively address "the concept of trust - a big question mark when customers are considering putting data in the cloud." The Stratus Trusted Cloud is a massively scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure that enables customers to access a secure, enterprise-class cloud environment with built-in high availability and automated resource balancing.

Channel Insider's editors also favorably referred to Stratus' recently introduced hybrid option, which blends and maximizes the best of a multi-tenant cloud and a dedicated environment. The hybrid option allows customers to leverage the Stratus Trusted Cloud for web front-end computing power and other resources like network, firewall, load balancing and web servers. In addition, customers can cross connect Stratus cloud computing resources directly into their environment to handle overflow situations such as seasonal spikes that require excess compute capacity.

Channel Insider's editors also cited Hosted Solutions' "Hi-Touch" consultative approach in working with its clients, developing solutions that meet their specific needs. The combination of superior service, along with partnerships developed with technology vendors such as VMware, Cisco, Sun, F5, EMC and more, have enabled Hosted Solutions to maintain rapid growth, and attract and retain top-tier clients such as Belk, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Falcons, Channel Advisor, Motricity and more.
