  • Building strategically located outside of severe weather and seismic zones
  • Building is rated to withstand hurricane-force winds
  • Ballistics-resistant walls, doors and windows
  • 24-hour physical security monitors all cameras, door positions and badge access areas
  • Redundant off-site monitoring of all security systems
  • Cameras on each doorway
  • Access to the data center requires two-factor authentication consisting of biometric hand scan and security code

General Data Center Information

  • Raised floor rated to support 1200lbs/sq.ft.
  • Conditioned air is supplied via the raised floor for more efficient and effective cooling of computer equipment
  • Sensor-driven cameras watching every door, aisle, cage and cabinet, NOC, NODE and other secure support rooms
  • Masonry and steel construction
  • Leak detection system
  • Grounding system throughout the data center to provide connections to the raised floor, posts, cages and cabinets

Lobby Information

  • 24-hour physical security monitors all cameras, door positions and badge access areas
  • Redundant off-site monitoring of all security systems
  • Camera on each doorway
  • Door entrance to data center requires two-factor authentication consisting of biometric hand scan and security code
  • Biometric hand scanner verifies unique hand geometry image and a heat signature before allowing entry into data center

Cage/Cabinet Information

  • Cage locks are impossible to "pick" because they require unique laser-etched keys with magnetic signatures
  • Hosted Solutions maintains control of all keys and access to cages and cabinets require an escort from security personnel
  • Cages are built from floor to ceiling to prevent unauthorized access over the top of the cages

  • Each PDU distributes power to power strips on each rack
  • All customer cabinets are fed via diverse PDUs
  • Emergency generator, regularly tested, for added protection
  • Indefinite run time with refueling. (Currently, over one week of continuous operation without refueling with current load.)
  • Locked within a sound-attenuated enclosure behind locked security fences and monitored by cameras
  • Critical functions are remotely monitored within data center .

HVAC

  • A minimum of N+1 configuration at the Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) level
  • Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) units are strategically positioned around the data center for optimal airflow efficiency
  • Ducted returns on CRAC units to allow hot air to rise away from customer cabinets, keeping customer equipment cool
  • CRAC units maintain temperature and humidity within four degrees and 5% of temperature and humidity set points
  • Moisture containment basins and sensors ensure no moisture enters the data center
  • Separate and further redundant cooling systems for critical support areas (NOC, MIS, Security)

Building Management Systems

  • Building management systems monitor critical infrastructure and environment throughout the facility

Security Cameras

  • Cameras digitally record all movement in and around the data center
  • Separate cameras focused on all exterior doorways
