  • Redundant utility transformers, generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs), main switch panels, UPSs and PDUs
  • Power distribution consists of an A and B side methodology with each side of the power infrastructure having the capacity to support full facility load in the event of failure
  • Dual sourced PDUs are fed from both the A side and B side power infrastructure and can automatically switch to an alternate power source in the event of failure
  • All customer cabinets are fed via diverse dual-sourced PDUs
  • Redundant 1.5 Megawatt diesel generators, regularly tested, for added protection
  • More than five days of generator fuel on site
  • Indefinite run time with refueling of generator
  • Generators are locked within sound-attenuated enclosures behind locked security fences and monitored by cameras, critical functions are remotely monitored within data center

HVAC

  • A minimum of N+1 redundancy ensures standby units are available in the event of an issue with a primary unit
  • Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) units are strategically positioned around the data center for optimal airflow efficiency
  • CRAC units maintain temperature and humidity within four degrees and 5% of temperature and humidity set points
  • Moisture containment basins and sensors ensure no moisture enters the data center
  • Separate and further redundant cooling systems for critical support areas
